Tencent owns Reddit, who employs large portions of the shills found at both Reddit and Voat.

Actually, funnily enough, this may* actually be one of the few worthwhile comments we'll see from NHFP...

Not that I know anything about them owning Reddit or hiring shills, but Tencent is on my radar.

* Needs sourcing, though.

Sourcing:

Kek.

Interestingly, I'm yet to read anything about them owning Reddit. Would be interested if he can source that claim.

Had you bothered to read my other comment right (above/below depending on sort method) the one you replied to, which was made over an hour before your reply, you'd see that I already fact-checked your claim and provided sources instead of a pathetic smarmy google-search link.

Funnily enough, you seem to think that becoming a majority stakeholder is exactly equal to outright owning Reddit -- wrong[11].

Owner Advance Publications (majority shareholder)

The wiki has been updated noting the February 2019 funding round, but the owner is not listed as Tencent. Please explain.

Even funnier, you "conced[e]" that you were exaggerating or not being "specific enough" (while somewhat doubling down because being wrong is just so hard for you) in another comment here, but not when you address me.

Now, how about you source the claim that Tencent is hiring and deploying shills on Reddit and/or Voat. No, I don't mean spit out another google-search link, I mean show me the evidence that backs your claim. The evidence you personally found, or were shown.

Nobody "freak[ed] out" even a little bit over your claims, you sad sack. I said I'm interested because Tencent was already on my radar before I even learned of their plans to invest in Reddit. I couldn't be bothered waiting for you to respond, so I checked it out myself only to find that your claims are at best 50% accurate.

Now, I'm going to revise that to a 40%, because you're wrong about Tencent being the outright owners and you're yet to provide any evidence of your claim about Tencent and shills. I'll wait.
