Hi, I’m a first time poster on this website. I tried to post on similar websites, but people kept flagging me for being discriminatory
I need help.
I was visiting my sister in AZ last month. On the way to my hotel one evening a car swiped mine, tearing off my mirror and leaving deep scratches and dents on the side, then sped off. I followed it to get the license plate number and called the police while doing so. The driver must have noticed I was following because after a few blocks she pulled over and got out of the car with 3 others. I got out and told her that what she did was a hit and run and that the police had been notified. I figured that she would apologize and that after a police report was filed, this incident would be handled by insurance. But she denied hitting my car! Then her snappy Mexican friend said that it’s 4 against 1 who would the police believe. I back into my car and started videotaping through the windshield in case they decided to drive off again. When the police arrived, I told them what happened while the 4 idiots loudly yelled that I was wrong. When the officers asked who was driving the car they were in, one of the other girls who was very scantily dressed said she was instead of the one who was actually driving. As I was correcting them, the driver said that she was a he! and his name was “Spencer” She might have had short hair but anyone with eyes could see from her anatomy that she was a woman. She then had the audacity to accuse me of falsely reporting her and her friends because she’s trans. While the police wrote this all up, I’m now having a tough time with my insurance company because “Spencer” gave me false insurance information and there were conflicting accounts of what happened. What do I do???

Get a dash cam for next time. Better yet a multi camera system.
