SJWs are just an effect of this awful information shit fest that the internet has turned into. But it will allow people like social justice warriors, who do what the video said they do, to thrive over the ones who aren't as interested in those things.

We saw it with reddit too. Reddit, a long, long time ago, used to be an absolutely awesome place filled with quality articles and comments that were equally amazing. And now look at it. It's complete shit compared to how it was. Instead of quality discussion, you get a bunch of people struggling to make jokes and puns for internet points.

People aren't adjusting to all this information we have. They don't generally have the will power to avoid click bait and the useless stuff and spend their time learning and improving themselves. The internet is a vast library with the most information gathered that humanity has ever gathered. The greatest libraries of all time hold just a portion of what a website like Wikipedia holds. And so many people feel compelled to spend their time in places like Gawker, Reddit, Facebook, etc digesting useless information while ignoring good information, and pushing that useless information forward.

If you haven't read it yet, I strongly suggest reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. The book was written around 1930 and the way he foreshadowed a lot of bad things that would happen in this world has been truly shattering to me. I'm personally almost finished with it, and I'm starting to realize that there are people who have seen the way the world is headed for a long time, but they can't speak up because, well, read what happens at the end of Brave New World. Huxley foreshadowed reactions to people leaving their bubbles extremely well.

Kojima's doesn't seem like the first person to ever think this way, which is sort of scary because it's been a long time problem with society and people have just ignored it.

You can get it for like $6 used on amazon after shipping. I prefer real books over ebooks but you could find a cheaper version if you look hard enough. It's well worth the read. I do suggest you be patient with it though. The first bit I was wondering why people recommended it so much but at the end it all comes together. It's sort of terrifying to finish the book and realize it was written in 1931. It's definitely worth it. And to be honest, you will probably end up being able to see parralels between Brave New World and other media besides MGS2. Matrix was sort of similar in that it revolved around people living in an artificial bliss that wasn't natural, too. I think it's actually a somewhat common trend, it just doesn't get brought up much because people don't like look at this thing this.
