I think it's important to note that the author did at least at one point state they were not advocating for censoring the symbol from historical context but rather making it more difficult for the symbol to be easily used as a wallpaper etc.
I will admit I didn't finish the blog because the bloggers writing style was extremely tedious and boring. But alas.
