Not too long ago /r/KotakuInAction had roughly 35,000 people, now it has just shy of 43,000 people. Not to mention our new supporters on Voat, GGHQ, GGRevolt and elsewhere. With so many new people, is it time for another operation similar to #OpSkyNet?
For those of you who don't know, #OpSkyNet was an operation to get GamerGate supporters to follow each other on Twitter and create a network. Not only does this help with the dissemination of information, but it also helps us trend hashtags a lot easier. Trending hashtags is a major part of raising awareness about ethical journalism, anti-censorship and consumer rights.
So what do you guys think, do we need another #OpSkyNet?

Honestly, I never liked OpSkyNet, because it looks like one big circlejerk to me, and god knows we already have enough "e-celebs" on twatter whose sole claim to fame is having many followers, rather than dispensing valuable info. Furthermore, following that many people only dilutes the flow of info with unnecessary drama (which Twitter produces no small amount of), so I prefer only actively following 15-20 people/ news sites which I trust on the issue.
If you want to get a hashtag trending, it imho would be easier to ask one of the big fishes for a retweet rather than following 10.000 people who only clog up the hashtag with drama.
