I read this last week and was astonished. I have known the media was biased for many years. I have known the NYT was one of the worst. I have to admit, though, that I did think they were still at least making an attempt to find news and report it. How could the editors have convinced themselves that the right thing for them to do was to form their narratives in advance and then go out and make up the news to fit it? They have intentionally been publishing pure fiction for many years now. It's not just propagandistic, biased reporting of actual events. It is astonishing.
