I don't but my mom does and has made a few afghans for me in the past. Feel free to post related pics/patterns/articles though. I don't know too much about that method myself.

I am not, but I wouldn’t mind any info you want to share, either...machine knitting sure looks very tempting when you’re doing something flat and boring like the back of a stockinette sweater.

I recommend looking up theanswerladyknits and robertarosekelley on youtube. They both have a bunch of vid on machines. They can do fairisle, intarsia, punch lace, tuck and slip stitch, and transfer lace, depending on the model you get.

I have the Singer SK303, Sk328, and LK150, the Toyota KS610 and KR310 (KR is a ribber), the brother KH860 with a transfer lace carriage, and a little vintage Necchi-Elna Jr machine.
