It's amazing you even know where to walk. Shame about the deer, but it's not like you're even remotely low on plants.

I'm amazed that you plant the corn right into the mulch like that. Do you do more kernels because of the slugs?

No issue with slugs back by the corn. Yet. The ground is mostly sand and gravel, with the raised corn rows being decent soil from another part of the yard. The mulch will break down really quickly, so I'm hoping for a little bit of top soil by next year.

Good news on the deer though. As parks and wildlife will not allow me to (legally) hunt on my property, they are liable for any damages from the deer once I go commercial. I just need to form my LLC and send them proof of a contract with a retail nursery, and they will pay for fencing.
