Hell yeah. I know Thrice. 'i will stare into the sun, and i won't close my eyes'

We probably liked a lot of the same bands back in the day. It's amazing how a song can take you back to a time.

Bands that were big for me:

Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Blink 182 (obviously), Luti-Kriss (amazing hardcore band - later became 'Norma Jean'), The Used, Underoath, Rufio, AFI, Finch, Brand New

Also like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgORW-8dCDE

If you're into music, consider my other sub v/OneGreatSong -- I'm just getting it going, but hope to eventually have it so you can listen to the entire sub as a playlist.

Hah...Yah we do listen to alot of the same stuff. Thats funny. Taking back Sunday - Make Damn Sure. Damn that songs take me back lol.

My GF introduced me to brand new a few years ago damn good band with some crazy insightful lyrics.

I'll check out that sub for sure man. Yah my GF says I need to check out rufio. I'd never heard of em before you mentioned. I always assumed her yelling "Rufio!" was from the robin williams peter pan.

Ya know as far as some pretty cool rap goes. Tyler the creator and his group wolfgang have got some really interesting stuff. Rx bandits are pretty good ska band btw probably already heard of them.

Tyler the Creator https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN-xq7t6pKw One of there fun songs...funny video. One of the wolfgang members Earl Sweatshirt really cool video if nothing else very serious song though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZ5Mu2gs-M8 Earl "chum" is pretty good as well.

That Taking Back Sunday album changed my life. Rufio is an awesome punk band -- like an underground Blink 182.

I know all those hip hop artists. Ska is the only type of music that's banned at v/OneGreatSong -- no offense.

My buddy was going to play some music and asked what i liked. I said 'anything with horns' -- which is a metal reference. He played ska. I was like 'wrong horns man' -- he thought i meant brass horns -- I meant devil horns. lol

If you like hiphop, check out the Rich Chigga video at v/OneGreatSong. Also Das Racist if you haven't already, but the early stuff.
