Jokes aside, when the young Mormon fellows come around to the area in town, I often give them money for lunch and supply them with bottled water if it's hot. I'm not into their version of the lord's word, but they are always upstanding people. Had a Mormon fellow roll up his sleeves once and help my grown daughter change a tire. Same goes for those Quaker folks. I have grand respect for them. More Americans need to reflect on those ways of life and maybe learn from them.

I like them better now that Islam is showing us alternatives.

An older Seventh Day Adventist couple has stopped by my place for a couple pleasant 10 minute chats in last month. Years ago found any of the types mentioned in this thread annoying(cept maybe the Quakers) but agree with you. I trust this whole "cluster" of religions(Amish/Menons too) to put their money and action where their mouth is, on family/community values. Still pretty wary of the Evangelicals and Fundamentalists unless I know them personally, but the moderates like Presbs and Methods have really gone to shit in last 30 years as far as tolerance of destruction of Western values.

The jews are pulling the strings of Islam. The jews are showing us what we have abandoned as a people by pushing Islam in our faces.

I haven't met a Mormon I didn't like. They may believe in some weird shit but they're nice and the ones I've met are more Christ-like than many Christians. Plus they're totally pro-2A and my Mormon roommate would always let me borrow his AK when I went shooting so they're good in my book.

It used to be popular in the Mormon community to tell families to have at least a years rations in the pantry in case of a natural disaster. The more families that do this the stronger the community when the time comes. Prepping before prepping was made main stream. I learned that from them. Most of the people I knew decades ago thought I was a loon for believing in such a matter. Now everyone is on board.

See and yet our general experience of them is watching them harass people on public transport

As a matter of fact, I actually laughed out loud at a couple of Blible thumpers yesterday. Sons of bitchers where using long sleave shirts at like 30 degrees (86 fahrenheit) trying to convince a Hatian nigger to give them money. Idiots.

86 celcius

I don't think so...

Edit: I think you got it the wrong way round, 30º C is the same as 86º F.

Correction, some people do say degrees while others just say C as in 30 degrees Celsius. And 86 Celsius is about 180 F
