I have owned a couple of Jeeps and currently own a Jeep that sits in my barn.

I'm not sure if you've seen pics? I'll have to share some with you when I'm at the right computer and able to dig them up. I have a modest collection of vehicles - but not what people would expect me to own. Most of them are stored in a barn on the property, but I also have a garage next to the house.

One of those vehicles is a 1973 Jeep Wagoneer. It even has the PTO! Before I owned my first tractor, I used the PTO to power a small portable saw mill and much of the wood that built my house came from my land. It gets started and moved regularly, but it hasn't been off the property for a couple of years.

So, I know a bunch about automobiles - but I don't really know anything in depth about the WWII era Jeeps. There's a whole lot to learn about them and I know that I know very little about them.

I so hope that makes sense...

LOL If you ever get to Maine, I'll even let ya drive 'em! My tractor's an L6060 and it's as lovely as you might imagine. You can't even stall it out - no matter how hard you try! It's climate controlled. I have the backhoe implement, tiller - that's just too big for my needs, bucket loader, wood splitter, snowblower, and a trailer. On Monday, I'll officially own a bunch of other stuff that hooks right up to it!

I'll have my own shit spreader, furrower, bailer, etc!

I'm pretty much a big five year old. I got lucky, sold my business, and bought toys. I've even got a lift in my garage.

I'm not kidding, by the way. I've met tons of people from the 'net. If you're ever in Maine, let me know and you can be my guest. I promise, I'm not an ax murderer and I have all the skin I need - so I don't need to make a skin suit.
