It's a subject that has a whole lot of ins and outs - and a lot of deep understanding. Willys didn't make them all - Ford made some and I think another company made some. There's a dozen variations that are all different models though they might only be slight changes.
I have owned a couple of Jeeps and currently own a Jeep that sits in my barn.
I'm not sure if you've seen pics? I'll have to share some with you when I'm at the right computer and able to dig them up. I have a modest collection of vehicles - but not what people would expect me to own. Most of them are stored in a barn on the property, but I also have a garage next to the house.
One of those vehicles is a 1973 Jeep Wagoneer. It even has the PTO! Before I owned my first tractor, I used the PTO to power a small portable saw mill and much of the wood that built my house came from my land. It gets started and moved regularly, but it hasn't been off the property for a couple of years.
So, I know a bunch about automobiles - but I don't really know anything in depth about the WWII era Jeeps. There's a whole lot to learn about them and I know that I know very little about them.

In short, it's a subject I know zero about.
