Yeah, you could take up gardening. I have a 20x25 foot plot that needs to be broken up again after the tiller didn't get deep enough. You could start with that.

Oh, I have a giant garden but it's still too early to plant. I live in the mountains of Maine. I don't have snow - but I could easily get some. It has been pretty warm, but Nature fools me. I don't put my garden in until a week after the neighbor starts planting. (I'm at a higher elevation.)

Pretty soon, I won't have much Voat time.

It's only been the last week that night temps have been safe to plant where I am. Rented a tiller Sunday, it rained like a banshee for 3 minutes in the middle of it. Of course, you don't till wet soil but things really weren't too wet. I went out there after work today and it had halfway compacted back down to about 5 inches below the old surface so that I have zero to 3 inches of top soil broken up. Now I either have to get out there with a shovel and break up the "not quite as compact" soil or rent another freakin tiller. I got about 1/4 of it broken up today after work in about... maybe 45 minutes. And it's working out the soreness from where I wrestled with the tiller on Sunday (before tying it to my riding mower and pulling it that way). But I figure that instead of planting everything in one weekend, I'll plant a couple of things every day after work. Two tomato plants one day, a pepper and cucumber plant the next, throw down some sunflower and cord seeds one day, another row the next week. Spreads everything out so that I don't have everything all at once and then wondering how I'm going to keep it all from spoiling before I can do anything about it.

While I'm out there, my dog found and routed a mole out of the garden plot and killed it until it was dead. And then rubbed all over it. He's a good boy. My only concern is that I never found the body and he was lightly heaving about 10 minutes later so I can't help but wonder if he swallowed the thing whole.
