To be openly sarcastic, isn't this why Americans want free market health care and not a single layer or one that is based on socialist principles like Japan's????

Regulations only hamper the possibilities of cheap care , regulated prices, price checks and people love paying 150 for ice packs and 40 dollars to hold their child after birth. It's the American way to commit fraud that is barely managed because obviously regulations are horrible.

Honestly, this shit doesn't surprise me. What surprises me more is double standards. Don't want quality controlled care that is proven in Japan but yet hate paying for unnecessary care. The care in the article is borderline malicious and should be charged as attemoted murder. Still, don't worry our costs as patients will go up to cover this assholes malpractice case.
