Not really sure if it's considered "indie" but this is a seriously beautiful, story driven game where you find yourself as a disgruntled painter looking back at your old paintings and discovering "your" history.

It's not a jumpscare horror, I think there was maybe one? jumpscare. The atmosphere and story line make it very creepy.

It has a publisher. So technically it isn't.

The horror factor dies pretty quickly when you realise there's no way to die, it's not really scary when you know it's all harmless, and the over-reliance on the house changing shape just became a mechanic you had to walk around and wait for. It did look good but it needed more substance gameplay-wise.

That's why it caught my attention, actually. Psychological things both interest, and scare me the most. Going through the game and seeing how everything kind of pieced together was very cool.
