Indie Gamedevs
Show us what you're working on. Give us links, images, videos. Get the word out. Limit it to one post per project per week though, so you don't seem spammy. Also, submit something besides your own project. Offer up something else for each personal promo post you make. It helps keep the page balanced.
Let's Players
Let's see some friggin videos! Some of you guys are freakin' hilarious and you help folks decide what games to buy.
Critics and Reviewers
Do what you do. Post that stuff here to help the community decide where to spend their hard earned dollars. Everyone needs an expert opinion sometimes.
Bloggers and Podcasters
Continue to provide information and entertainment. Post links to your interviews so we can hear what the developers have to say about their projects.
Freebie Hunters
If you hear about a cheap or free indie game, it would be cool of you to spread the love. Let us know!
Be Respectful
We like civil, quality discussions regarding indie games. Hate and politics are not appreciated here.

I suppose this isn't limited only to indie games, but I like games that don't battle for control with me as a player. In other words, I like games that allow me as much agency as possible. So for example, I really don't care for unnecessary cut scenes. In fact, I believe that designers/writers should try to make their games with as close to zero cut scenes in the game as possible. I always believe if you're going to take away control from me as a player, it should be meaningful. To give an example, if I can't control my character, then it should probably mean that the player character is bound or can't move for some reason. Sometimes I feel like some developers would be better off making a movie than a game.
