[–] Onlio 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I wish I could give an extra Upvote just for the word "retardify"

We have a great challenge ahead of us to re-educate our people in future that are currently being brainwashed with all these multicultural lies. When they implant falsities in such young, impressionable and developing minds it plants it's roots deep into the psyche and will take significant effort to flush out especially going forward with increased restrictions on free speech and internet censorship.

[–] JonReed 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago

One reason this is absurd is that even if there were a black or two there (which there werent) they'd have been bred white assuming they hadn't died from their unintelligence due to land being heavily regulated by Kings and Lord's.... Like, once again there are so many obvious things that totally contradict this insane idea being asserted as divine fact

[–] AndersonBlitzer [S] 0 points 10 points (+10|-0) ago

it is an attempt to undermine the link between "British" and ethnicity

there's a load of feminist stuff in the cartoons too (covered in the second half of the video)

Multiculturalism needs not only natives to accept it, but also foreigners...

And for the latter it's not a given

...

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/muslim-communities-unlike-others-in-britain-former-race-equality-chief-trevor-phillips-says-a6836301.html

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/813268/Theresa-May-Muslim-schools-integrate-mix-children

...

It's the moderates the problem among foreigners (and natives...), not radicals

(But let's limit ourselves to moderate foreigners)

Radicals (foreigners) by definition are rejected by the natives, because radicals reject the natives, that's easy score, they score for us

The moderates however... They attract sympathy, they are likable, they incarnate hope, they eclipse the radicals... Because people want to believe a nice story

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/772544/Muslims-Britain-integrating-LBC-Maajid-Nawaz

...

And they are nice yes, that's not the issue, the issue is demographics, multiculturalism, they are not us, they have to go back

The problem with moderates, is that they are the foot in the door for more of their people, and more of their radicals ultimately, AND, they won't be able to confront their radicals, because, they also have a complex of inferiority toward radicals, the radical is authentic, moderates are "half assed"... It's true for muslims, it's true for blacks, for foreigners in general, but even more for those having some sort of opposition toward the host civilization to begin with

The more you're white the less you're black....

The more you're westernized the less you're muslim...

It's always that logic, most fall for it

...

Moderates can't publicly denounce their radicals, especially in front of natives, that would be uncle tom, that would be betrayal toward their community lagging behind, they need acceptance, radicals thrive at the bottom of their community...

So they'll find excuses for the lamers, and the radicals, to get accepted by them, while still remaining accepted by the native

They are a fucking cancer, as nice as they are, it doesn't matter, and it's not personal, I'm talking from a strategical standpoint

[–] comnhall 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago  (edited ago)

This shit is so fucking insidious. It is brainwashing in the most Orwellian sense. A literal rewriting of history to influence the minds of children, under the guise of entertainment. Any board member or exec who approved this should swing from a rope

[–] thealtright 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

It's truly sick.

"Thank you for contacting us about ‘The Story of Britain’ by the Learning Zone. We appreciate you are concerned about the historical accuracy regarding the portrayal of ethnic minorities as living in Britain in ancient times.

We contacted the programme team, who responded to say:

“This series was commissioned with a great deal of expert input from academics and original source material. We stand by our content in this regard.

The ethnic makeup of Britain at the time, in the majority were indeed people of Celtic, Pictish and Gallic derived tribes. ‘Britain’ did not exist as we know it in the current day. The south, and large cities, were effectively ‘Romanised’ by the time of the emperor Hadrian, to the extent that the local languages had largely been supplanted by hybrid-Latin even among the native Britons. The northwest and west, however, were still very much a frontier land where dozens of different tribes administered territory, and Rome held limited influence outside of isolated forts and towns. So when we talk about ‘Britain’, we are not talking about one country. We are talking about two connected but largely different civilisations living side by side, with different traditions, languages and cultures.

Brittania was a late addition to the Roman territories, coming into the fold a good two centuries after much of the Mediterranean and North Africa. The North African region was considered entirely ‘Romanised’ by the time of the Emperor Hadrian – not just occupied provinces of the empire, but an integral and equal part of it; citizens born in these provinces were considered Romans. North Africa was one of the most populous and wealthy imperial territories; not as high status as the city of Rome itself, but just as Roman as the rest of Italy.

A large number of Roman nobility and the equestrian (knight/officer) class came from provinces such as modern day Greece, Spain, Turkey and North Africa. They were educated in Rome, spoke Latin, and were considered entirely Roman regardless of their ethnic background or skin colour. Many travelled the empire in military or governmental capacities to further their careers. Indeed, Septimius Severus, Rome’s first African emperor, was born just after the time our video is set, in what is now Libya. He was educated in Rome where he worked as a lawyer and rose through the ranks. He spent much of his reign living in Britain and died in York before being buried back in Rome. It is entirely plausible - and not in any way atypical - that a high ranking officer and their family, on rotation in a province like Britain, would be black. A few settled – and we occasionally find their graves. Most would have returned to Rome or their home province to continue their careers or retire.

It is known from written and archaeological accounts there was at least one entire African garrison of troops based at Burgh-by-Sands in Solway on the Cumbrian/Scottish border. These were Numerus or Auxiliaries (units of non-Romans under a chief allied to the empire, or Roman subjects serving to gain citizenship respectively), overseen by their tribal chief or a ranking Roman Knight, usually of the same origin. The wall was usually staffed by these non-citizen troops, as the elite legionaries were garrisoned in larger towns and would not have been used on guard duty (whilst the wall was a prestige project, policing it was not considered a glamorous posting). To that end, it would actually have been somewhat unusual to see ‘Latin’ faces on the wall in large numbers – ethnic Syrians, Africans, Egyptians, Persians and the like would be more common – as represented in this video.

In conclusion, we are not trying to re-write history. Whilst we absolutely celebrate diversity in the UK, we feel this series was presented accurately and without agenda.”

We hope this helps to address your concerns and we thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Kind Regards

they keep trotting out this north african business. the people depicted are not north african, they are clearly sub saharan. septimus severus was half Berber half Roman. he wasn't black. "Africa" at the time was the name of a Roman province in what is now Algeria, Tunisia and Libya

[–] LazarusLong 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

True enough, there were plenty of auxiliaries from North Africa, but why is there a black guy with pict tattoos?

Also, why does this African appear to be subsaharan?

[–] AndersonBlitzer [S] 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

don't accept that at all, and it also doesn't address the issue of black people being in the other eras

[–] unclejimbo 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Right, and we have always been at war with Eastasia.
