Sometimes I wonder if many of the classical intellectuals and philosophers didn't think more clearly than we are capable of today. Sure, they had access to less information, but they also didn't have to deal with all the political baggage Western Civilization has since taken on. Whatever the case, years of brainwashing cannot erase Aristotle's simple truth that a people related by blood are much more resistant to government tyranny than a "diverse" society, which can be easily divided and conquered (sound familiar?).

That is why Huxley's Brave New World is a bigger threat to society than Orwell's 1984.

To be honest were being hedged in from both sides. The masses are being distracted by empty self-indulgence which makes it easy for the government to crack down on anyone who pays attention and gets a bit too vocal.

That book made me feel more dread than 1984 ever did.

Aristotle was alive when Egypt was on the decline. I'm sure it was known back then that the men who built Egypt were of the same racial stock as the men who built Greece and that the brown people who were tearing it down had nothing to do with its former greatness. Greeks of his time certainly knew the difference between white men, brown men, and yellow men since Greece had colonized land in Africa and Asia Minor.

Very true. I don't mind helping out a fellow hard-working caucasian that's down on his luck, but i don't want to give a single dime to filthy arabs, africans, native americans or other degenerate subhumans

"NATIONAL SOCIALISM"

[–] Whitemail 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Your people are your problem.

This is the proper functioning of the world. If Mexico has too many people or treats their people like shit, that's Mexico's problem. We're not your fucking safe haven to runaway from your own shitpeople.

Honestly, I would be willing to offer others assistance following a natural disaster, but that's about it. I'm not willing to create charity-dependent population bubbles.

"Aristotle Was Smart"

Yes, he was. The modern state has tried to overcome the notion of hyphenated membership, (ie African-American, Irish-American, German-American) with the use of a core patriotic message and universal constitution based on liberty and justice for all citizens.

That actually has been working moderately well. In WWII, the schism of racial and ethnic division did not stop various hyphenated groups coming together to fight for the Republic.

But in the modern period, the use of cultural and ideological subversion, Cultural Marxists' demands for emphasis on Identity over individual accomplishment/Unity, Identity Politics over Common Interests, has undermined the state of common belonging.

How bad is it now? In the USA, it is not as bad as portrayed by the MSM whose journalists and editors, themselves, are, to a large extent, steeped in Post Modernism/Cultural Marxism. It is the News and Print media's practitioners of Cultural Marxism/"Critical Theory" (which is not critical nor a theory) who purvey this distorted dystopian image of rioters and BLM and Antifa representing some significant fraction of the demos far out of the proportion they currently occupy. That is the intent, though. They want to foster a normalizing of dissidence.

The Black "pastors" of the Left, these race baters, and their Hollywood Elite allies are the first to be given the microphone but they represent a thin sliver of society. Mass Migration is NOT popular with the African-American Community but you would not know this from the MSM coverage. These bigots and anti-white racists and their allies do not represent the intact portion of the black community, for instance, those that work and have a hard earned stake in the society.

So Aristotle was right for his time and the circumstances of the City States such as Athens and Sparta. But he is not a "prophet" and the analysis he gives is not founded on even a single percent of the historical knowledge anyone of us can muster with just a 10 minute review on the internet. My takeaway from Aristotle's admonition is that Patriotism/Nationalism is not just honorable and virtuous but it is NECESSARY for the common defense. So we have to drive out those teachers and curriculum which seeks to poison the minds of the youth toward the incredible achievements and values of the West. The West is not a force for evil as folks like Howard Zinn have tried to convey but is an undeniably positive force championing the rights of the Individual.

Who ended slavery, the timeless institution held in every corner of the world? The West did. No one else. Is that taught to the students of the USA and Germany and Britain? No, or not sufficiently and the rationale connecting this abolition to the Enlightenment Values of the West are not emphasized. An entire Month should be spent on this topic for every student passing through the primary and secondary educational systems. That needs to happen. That is how we reverse the process of destabilization foisted on the youth from today's Left.

("ending slavery"->Aristotle would not approve but that's because he was a man of his time, not a prophet.)

Don't be one of those psuedo-intellectual douches using very technical, esoteric words in casual conversation or I'll shove your fedora right down your throat.

"Hiraeth is a Welsh word for which there is no direct English translation. The online Welsh-English dictionary of the University of Wales, Lampeter likens it to homesickness tinged with grief or sadness over the lost or departed. It is a mix of longing, yearning, nostalgia, wistfulness, or an earnest desire for the Wales of the past."

Hmm... Thanks rainy-day

From what I have seen in the UK, Muslims ALWAYS vote in blocs. Just look at Brexit, they all voted Remain. All Muslim areas are labour controlled.

It's really bad over there.

Of course. Muslim i.e. North Africa/Middle East cultures didn't create democracy, liberalism, universal suffrage. We did. They're tribal cultures so they'll vote for whoever their tribe leader says. In a matter of a decade or less we'll see the first Islamic Party, mark my words.
