/cuteboys/, /furry/ and /pol/ had a wonderful vibe. To me, at least, coming there from censored Reddit run by idiot admins. But 8chan didn't start out with that vibe (although the freedom was there), it only got to that point a while after it had been created. Is there a point at which Voat will reach that stage? Or is this sub too normalfag, with stuff like /r/programming and cat pic subs that pretty much ape Reddit rather than doing stuff Reddit wouldn't allow (for example, posting email addresses on a Gamergate sub, posting semi-SFW jailbait and posting creepshots--the latter two are more fun but the first is a must-have)? Because the stuff Reddit doesn't allow anymore is the good stuff. It's just that on here, you don't get ignored or buried even if you're a tiny niche sub.
P.S. I wish the logo were cooler. I don't like pastel colors or rounded letters.
