IT News and Discussion
Welcome to /v/IT
This is a subverse to get together and share articles, information, and discussion as it relates to the IT industry. There are very few rules here, but they are important.
-
Keep it civil. Opposing opinions and debate are encouraged, but don't let it devolve into a flame war please.
-
Keep it relevant. For example, an article detailing the release of a new iPhone likely doesn't belong in this sub unless it relates to IT in some way, such as MDM.
-
Follow Voat's rules as outlined in the User Agreement.
Voat takes a strong stance against censorship, and we agree, so we will not moderate outside of these 3 very basic rules. The community has the freedom to moderate itself, by way of upvoat and downvoat. We encourage users to not use the downvoat as a 'dislike' button, but rather as a moderation tool.
Since chatboxes are down at the moment, feel free to join us at #IT and/or #Voat on BaphoNet. There's a web interface for #Voat and #IT, or you can grab the server info and connect using your favorite IRC client.

So far I like, just finished installing. Its nice to have a start menu back, its old and new at the same time. I hated 8.1 since my gaming desktop doesnt have a touch screen (and why the hell would it). Runs smooth and haven't had any issues yet but its still very fresh on my computer.
