How difficult is it to change the trunk springs in a 2000 Mercedes CLK 320? Do you have pictures illustrating how to complete this procedure?

Big ass pry-bar and some beefy channel-locks pliers. Also, why are you replacing the springs when it is the trunk struts that usually go out and cause the trunk to not stay open?

Because it's the coupe, not the convertible. For some reason, they engineered the trunk hinges completely differently between the convertible and the coupe - obviously for the sake of room for machinery and folded down top. The coupe does not have those struts.
