I think most people live at home.

Or homeless.

Go home, dad.

What's your condition?

It's been answered elsewhere, pretty tired and don't want to do repeats. If I don't answer something, that'll be why.

When will you do a back flip off a bridge?

[–] wundaboiii [S] 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Do you provide lessons?

[–] Lag-wagon 1 points -1 points (+0|-1) ago

Why would I provide a lesson for something so easy achievable?

  • How did you find Voat?
  • What’s your favorite color?

I am sorry you are in such pain, I have no idea what painkillers you must have tried, Valium, Morphine? I wonder why it didn’t work for some relief...

Do you have a physical therapist? Strengthening your muscles will help but only if you get pain relief and practice low impact exercise like swimming etc...

I pray the correct solutions for your circumstances present itself and that you receive relief from the pain. I also pray that good the LORD blesses you with good company for the journey and I genuinely hope you overcome, don’t give up and be a living testimony to those that really need it.

Thank you for sharing.

I think I found voat by googling "reddit alternative" shortly after Swartz killed himself. Writing was on the wall. I use both though. Different groups.

Meds just do not sit well with me. Not on a religous or any kind of belief note, purely how my body interacts with most chems for some reason.

I've had a few physiotherapists. It just makes me hurt more and they never see me making improvement either. I still do exercise when I can but it's wimpy stuff and scattered due to the nature of fluctuating pain levels.

Thanks. And I don't mean this as a knock just might as well paint a fuller picture, I used to believe there was "something else" in a spiritual sense, but haven't in a long time. Mainly Christianity, then Buddhism. I used to have a lot about either memorized, now I only remember I used to have things memorized, not what they were.

The one color I am not sure about, it doesn’t suite my complexion for some reason... lol. Red is a good color for me :)

Meds just do not sit well with me.

Have you tried priobotics and fermented foods to restore your gut? Your stomach has probably been beat up by meds so much, you may need to consider a natural route...

Here is some info on a quick search for you about priobotics, it may help.

And I don't mean this as a knock

Oh you can knock religion to the wall all day long. If there is truth it will remain standing. At the moment your body, the flesh is your master as it screams at you every moment of the day. Truly you are a spiritual being caged up in physical torment. This is not religion but the battle that wars in and around us.

I just want you to be be in charge of your body and not the other way around, but it’s really really tough for you and I pray you receive a miracle. I believe in miracles my friend and whether you believe or not is none of my business, I just want the best for you, Spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Read psalm 139 if you have a moment, hold fast my friend relief is coming, I truly believe this.

Rough. Have you tried writing as a form of release? It may help and it may give your brain something to do other than wallow and browse the internet. Our bodies may fail us, and it will suck balls, but if your mind is still sound then remember it is a muscle that craves exercise as much as the rest of the body does.

If money is not an issue, or if you have decent insurance perhaps you should consult with an orthopedic doctor?

[–] wundaboiii [S] 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

In Canada, so it comes down to extremely long wait times from referrals instead of a money barrier. The response I get from everyone in the system always boils down to one of the following:

  • I can see that you're in a lot of pain, but there's nothing we can do about it.

  • You are refusing to take medication that will make you feel better on the premise that you have taken it before and it makes you feel worse. I can't help you.

  • Why haven't you killed yourself yet? (I have one of these in writing actually - a specialist wrote this to my GP at the time, I didn't find out until I got a copy of some medical records a while later when I got a new GP, and for some reason this letter was included with them)

[–] KatHarzso 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Fuck... and Canada had such great healthcare I've heard about..

Could you sue them especially for that last bit? That is not healthcare, that is sickcare and is disgusting and heinous. It is not your fault your body isn't working right, and even if it was - it is your right to feel better and get the best damned treatment there is.

I would research into orthopedic surgeons up there and start writing letters, lots and lots of letters maybe with a summary of your health record/problems/etc... Sooner or later you may get someone hooked into your story and will help you out.

MAYBE even send some letters down to American orthopedic surgeons?

maybe the path of the martyr is for you. God knows canada needs them.

[–] Titus-of-Voat 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Why haven't you killed yourself yet?

What? Is that something that Canada advocates for?

[–] Lobotomy 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Why don't you just go to the U.S. for what you need?

[–] Scruffy_Nerfherder 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

What do you do with your day?

[–] wundaboiii [S] 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Most days are like I described in another response, but if you want an example of what I do on a good day:

Go to the park for 30 - 60 minutes (depends on pain).

Watch a movie or play a game (usually the latter, most movies don't interest me anymore)

Knock one out.

[–] sakuramboo 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

What did you have for breakfast?

[–] wundaboiii [S] 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Blueberry protein shake (one cup milk, one cup blueberries, 3/4 scoop whey powder [since I can't actually put the recommended amount to use])

Vitamin mix (250ml of water and two scoops of this vitamin powder)

1/2 tablespoon peanut butter

1/2 tablespoon udo's oil

1 nutrigrain bar

[–] sakuramboo 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

That sounds delicious. No banana's?
