"Silicon Valley" is obviously slightly exaggerated but there are some similar aspects. The team work and relaxed environment at Hooli is definitely similar to our office space. If only our startup could win techcrunch disrupt and have a bunch of venture capitalists chasing after us!

Knowing that I enjoy what I am doing in a supportive environment. A lot of my friends who have gone into corporate jobs say that they would love to work in a startup environment. Working in a place like the hackerdojo allows you to talk to a diverse group of people with many different views and ideas.

Is this your first company? If so, what are the challenges you've faced so far you didn't expect? What problem are you trying to solve now?

Inzopa is my first company in Silicon Valley. I've run several successful and not so successful business back in Mumbai.

We have faced several challenges related to identifying product market fit. It's never obvious when you launch, in majority of the cases there will be a gap between what a founding team thinks the market needs versus what the market really ends up using.

Everyday billions of new pages of content get published on the web. It is very difficult for even fortune 50 companies to figure out relevant content that will help them get discovered by potential customers through online search, which in return will drive high leads through the website. We learnt from our data and customers to evolve into a fully automated technology platform to create highly relevant content. We are used by several hundred financial institutions to get discovered through Inzopa for their expertise in organic search.

  1. I don't know programming. However, my technical co-founder is a hands on programmer and team leader from Apple.

  2. At Inzopa we are using a bit of everything, but mainly use Groovy on Grails as Java is the preferred language at banks.

  3. Absolutely, everyday and with time if you continue to go through the grind it becomes easy to recognize patterns for quick and effective decision making.

  4. I think that Ellen Pao should have responded immediately. I believe that if she handled the situation better, everything could've been avoided. I am glad that the whole disaster introduced me to Voat.

Thanks for your replies, I really appreciate them. Sorry if I assumed you're a programmer.
