Failure is genuinely one of the nicest people on voat. If you ever need help with tech stuff, best goy to ask!

Also, why is Arotaes so annoying?

@Failure

Hi. Beta_alt said you're good at tech stuff so i thought I'd ask you for some tech advice. I am trying to build my micro nation on mars. It would be a self-sustaining colony of about 100 people at first with plans to expand it to 1000+ people. I'm good with mechanics but lacking in electronic as software department and have never built a spacecraft before, let alone a mars colony. But since you're good at tech stuff + nice maybe you can help. Do you have any schematics of space rockets or colonies that you've built in the past and would be wiling to share as "old tech"?

I wasn't in the rocket part, but you can use a rail gun-like setup in a loop to accelerate small packages to bombard the surface of Mars with supplies beforehand. Once there, use liberal amounts of RTGs using plutonium and the in-development thermophotovoltaic cells. Each of these should produce a lot of heat, or about 1000+ watts every hour. Food should rely on fatty foods and strategic application of Mars soil to grow high-density foods. Water can be obtained via ice sheets + RTG heat.
