3x years at $20 a day is not that much. $21k total. I was able to save $10k in 6 months with a near minimum wage job when I lived in the states and I used that money to travel to Europe and try to live semi travellor bohemian lifestyle for a couple months (which was waste of time and money really) and eventually settle down in Europe (which I should have done in the first place but it's a lesson learned). If you're determined enough it's not too difficult to save enough money and take some risks as long as you also make some contingency plans if you fail. After I saved and left US for Europe I was still paying my rent in US basically flushing money but having that contingency was worth it to me in case I failed. My risk was rewarded in the end after some hard knocks.

Nah I've been through a lot of shit. Enough shit that it motivated me to take risks most people wouldn't probably but also to try and plan things out so I wouldn't suffer too much if things went badly.
