With a school board spot open in Heimlich County, the three women of Rainy St. try to snag the spot as a team with a common goal. Very quickly, a power grab ensues as each woman tries to be the woman in the elected seat. With devise tactics and the goal of tearing each other down as opposed to bolstering themselves up as the most qualified candidate, they end up handing the election to the original candidate they were trying to take down.
It's easy to understand from this episode that when you focus on someone else you cannot be focusing fully on yourself. In the fight of your life, if you're distracted from the real goal you cannot achieve it. While you're busy putting a bomb in your enemy's base they may very well doing the same to you. Or worse, the third enemy is using a logical approach that focuses on themselves as opposed to the petty antics of the others.
Looking at America's most recent presidential election, right from the start the MSM and already established powers used devise tactics to dismiss the campaign of to-be President Trump. It started as a something they could mock and laugh at to show everyone to not take it seriously. All the while, Trump took his campaign seriously and did what he could to give himself credibility. After that worked for Trump the established powers used fear to turn Trump into a bogeyman as opposed to making themselves look like superheroes. Trump continued to take himself seriously and give himself credibility. That worked for Trump again and here we are.
We also learned earlier in the episode from Bobby and Joseph that parking lots are a good place to play parking lot chicken. Grab your carts kids and find those moving cars!
