The buildings are specifically designed to withstand fires, They can hold multiple times their own weight. They are over engineered for these exact situations. Even if it could cause a collapse, there is no way the top half of the building could completely crush the bottom half under gravity alone.
WTC 7 wasn't even hit by a plane. The official story is that it apparently feel down to office fires. Steel framed high rises are designed to be completely engulfed in flames and not fall. WTC 7 only had fires on a few floors. The official story involves a sequence of extremely unlikely events. The most impossible part is that WTC 7 fell at free fall acceleration. You can only achieve this acceleration when there is no resistance.
Dr Hulsey who is a professor of engineering at alaska fairbanks released his report of the collapse of WTC 7 just a few weeks ago. They determined that it is impossible for fires to cause the collapse of WTC 7.

No, they were not designed to withstand a 767 with full fuel tanks slicing through multiple floors' worth of crucial supports. The fires alone probably would not have dropped the towers, but combined with the huge amount of structural damage from the impact and explosion, that was enough to cause the collapse.
Anyone who sits here and says that these buildings were designed to withstand that is the low IQ type of conspiracy theorist that doesn't have the faintest clue about what they're talking about, and are just regurgitating what they heard an equally-clueless person shit out online.
Why do you believe that? Because you arbitrarily decided to believe it? Because some other retard said it online?
The rest of your comment is irrelevant since I wasn't talking about building 7 and I wasn't disputing that the "official" story is far from what actually went down. I just don't need to invent insane, stupid bullshit when reality works just fine. All the people going on about holograms, mass brainwashing, millions of "actors", that nobody actually died on 9/11, etc. are all literally retarded.

I didn't realise that architects and engineers were low IQ conspiracy theorists.
I don't think you realise just how strong skyscrapers are. They aren't sitting at the edge of stability, they are engineered to withstand extreme forces. The towers were specifically designed to withstand a plane crash and fires. All high rise buildings are designed to withstand a plane crash and fires, it's a requirement. Go and watch failed building demolitions and you will see how strong they are. They don't crumble to bits all the way to the bottom floor. As the floors get crushed, the energy goes into decelerating the building. They eventually stop way before they crush themselves all the way to the bottom floor.
WTC 7 alone shows that it was demolished with a controlled demolition. You can't achieve free fall acceleration through any other method when you drop an object under the force of gravity alone. This means that there was no structural resistance of the building as it fell. The first thing that should've been done was to investigate for explosives. NIST didn't do this even though there were multiple witnesses of explosives before the buildings even came down. As I said before, Dr Hulsey released his report on the collapse and he determined that fires were responsible and that a controlled demolition was the most likely cause.
NORAD and other US air forces were also conducting 4 simultaneous hijacking simulations on that very day. They only conducted 1 at a time before that. The likely hood of them doing this on 9/11 is extremely small. They only do these simulations once every several months. When they were called to deal with the situation, they thought it was another simulation and didn't take it seriously. That's why they took so long to respond.
On top of that, the white house altered information on the toxicity of the dust. The organisation responsible for analysing the dust to make sure it was safe, determined that it wasn't safe at all. It had heaps of toxic chemicals in it. The white house altered these public reports to say that it was safe. As a result, a heap of the first responders are now ill and suffering from cancer. There was one person that tried to leak this information but was silenced in the media. Her name is Cate Jenkins.
There was also a scientific peer reviewed paper that analysed the WTC dust. This paper was published on Bentham open. The scientists that analysed the dust found micro iron spheres and thermitic material in it. The iron spheres are an indication of a thermitic reaction and high temperatures. The thermitic material was more explosive than any commercially available thermite.
People working on the 9/11 commission themselves released a book detailing their experienced. They said their investigation was "set up to fail". This book is called Without Precedent The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission. There wasn't even going to be an investigation to begin with because there is a loophole in the law that doesn't require an investigation for acts of war. They only opened the investigation when families of the people that died, demanded that they did.
Two of the most notable witnesses of 9/11 are William Rodriguez and Barry Jennings. Barry Jennings experienced explosions in WTC 7 before any towers fell. William was one of the janitors in the twin towers. His coworker was injured by an explosion in the basement before any towers were hit. He is now an activist for 9/11 truth.
Just this year, the New York Fire Commissioners called for new 9/11 Investigation about pre-planted explosives. They did this because many of the first responders heard and experienced explosions.
