After spending some time traveling internationally to both South America and Asia, I developed a superficial fungus that would grow on my chin under my beard, on my back and chest, and occasionally my crotch. Never had athetes foot in my life but the athlete's foot remedies like Lotrimin and Tolfinate, Clotrimazole all work.
After dealing with it recurring every summer I developed regimens to combat it - so I will share them with you:
- Diet - eliminate yeast, no bread, pizza, beer.
- Clothing - ade vinegar to the soak cycle.
- Bathing - Get Epsom salt and soak in a salt bath. It makes the fungus more vulnerable by changing ph.
- Topical - whenever I could go shirtless I would wipe apple cider vinegar on my shoulders, back and chest.
Also the aforementioned antifungals.
After I adopted this regimen the recurrences became so insignificant that a little antifungal cream and a quick change in diet would cause it to disappear within a day or two.
This time I can tell you exactly what caused it to come back after a decade -
- bmx bike out of storage , chafed my crotch riding it
- pajamas out of storage
- 2 40's of Miller High Life over Thanksgiving
god it stinks

You need to see a dermatologist. You aren't ever getting rid of it. You're probably breeding a stronger strain of that shit
