Nicotine Salt! Be sure to get it and use it in the right device. I tried old school vaping years ago and it was pointless to me. The nicotine salt is what is helping people leave cigarettes. Nic salts allow the body to ingest the nicotine at a rate much more similar to cigarettes. This is why JUUL has been so successful. JUUL has saved my life! BUT JUUL IS SHIT! Just buy a pod mod device like the Justfog Minifit, or the OVNS Saber. Both work great, are refillable, and you can even rebuild the Minifit pods. Joe_Nunamaker is right about the cost too, you'll save so much money! A 30 ML bottle is like 20 bucks and lasts well over a month for me.

It can replace the cigarettes for sure. Your friend is lucky they quit. Some folks just switch over still stuck on the nicotene. They smell better and breathe better though. And it's a dollar a day instead of 7-14 dollars. So there's that.

Tried vaping, it actually took me from 8 cigarettes a day to 20. If you're already at a pack it might be worth it to give this method a shot. Best results I've had for cutting back has been spacing out my smoke breaks by 5 minutes every other day. I'm back down to 10, but that took 2 years of trying different things to get there.

You think your addiction got worse from the higher nicotine doses from vaping? Like you started vaping, your body became accustomed to the higher amount of nicotine, so when you didn't have access to your vape device for w/e reason, you felt like you had to smoke more cigs at a time?

That sounds like a discipline issue. If you've bought a vape device, why would you ever purchase cigarettes? I could see you buying a few packs if your device broke and you had to get it replaced or something, but if it's working and you're getting your nic fix, what is your reason to walk into the store and hand over $10ish for MORE nicotine?

Nope, it was higher frequency with less gratification. Just never settled the nerves, so I'd have another hit then eventually go have a cigarette. Not a good spiral to be in.

That sounds like a discipline issue.

The fuck do you know? It's called addiction. If it was just discipline we'd all go cold turkey. Fuck you.
