$2000 CAD isn't that much, especially when your food costs 3-5x more and your economy just went.

The exchange rate is about $1400 US so not much more but that extra $200 can buy alot of Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches, Black and Milds, and E&J

The exchange rate might be 1:1, but last I checked food in Canada was crazy expensive and that's before their oil based economy crashed.
