Do you practice faggotry or did that comment just come naturally to you?

I figured as much. Click the light bulb at least, faggots I can tolerate but at least don't be a day mode faggot.

Day mode faggots did 9/11.

A very large numbers of old Voat users immediately switch to overtly vulgar, unnecessary, and offensive language in the hope that it will drive new users away. Their rationale is that if people are so triggered by the use of mean words that they can't stand the website, then they're destined to leave later on in the face of uncomfortable truths that they don't have the power to censor.

These users don't seem to realize that it is not necessarily the mean words themselves that drive people away, but the sense that new users get that Voat is nothing but edgy overtly vulgar children, which it is not.

Oh well. It's the same every influx. A bunch of people arrive, some fraction of them stay, and Voat gets bigger and reddit gets weaker.
