When I watched 'Idiocracy' years ago my husband was laughing hysterically but I wanted to cry! I kept telling him OMG! We're almost there now!

Mike Judge is a visionary or he just understands people inherently follow crowds like lemmings on cliffs.

Beavis and Butthead was a commentary on what we shouldn't be. Much like South Park is a modern Brothers Grimm/Mother Goose/Aesops Fables with a twisted bent, Beavis and Butthead is two parts Goofus with no Gallant.

And the (((producers))) at MTV miss the point entirely.

I agree and felt the same way when I saw 'Office Space'...didn't know whether to laugh or cry because I worked in that soul killing corporate environment for years. The movie was shot in Austin, Texas and Mike Judge made a hilarious cameo as the restaurant manager who demanded that the staff wear "flair" !

Too funny!

But my favorite creation of his is 'King of the Hill'. And Mike voices Hank Hill.

A classic.
