Got sauce on that? I saw an article earlier today which showed a photo of the consulate. It could have been a "file" photo. Thanks.

They are used to operate from the American Consulate General Office, the largest US consulate in the world:

Maybe they used rooms near the DE-CIX internet node too, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a bunch of direct lines used by NSA and CIA to intercept the European internet traffic.
