OMG, grr... that's fn outrageous. You know it makes me wonder what it means when it says, made in the USA of imported products. How much is made here, is what they need to mandate the company list, if they are going to claim it's made here.

There are such regulations. They change from time to time...always new loop holes. I built offices for "American Denim" in LA and TJ.in mid 80's. An eye opener. Big ass sewing facility with racks full of every kind of demim. They made jeans. Every brand you ever heard of and a bunch of "designer" stuff too. The "Brand" only provided design/material/stitching instructions and the label. I think about that every time I buy a pair still.
