Excerpts:
Ike's Korner Grill's fight against Gov. Henry McMaster's executive order requiring masks in restaurants continues with a hearing scheduled Monday at the Spartanburg County Courthouse.
Chief Administrative Judge for the Seventh Circuit J. Mark Hayes II ruled on Sept. 25 that Ike's Korner Grill owner Neil Rodgers' request to have the executive order lifted could not be granted at this time and a hearing was scheduled to gather more information about the matter.

The lawsuit argues the mask requirements violate the South Carolina Constitution and the executive order to require they be worn are not authorized by the laws of South Carolina.
Ike's Korner Grill was given a warning in August for not following rules set by the executive order. The restaurant was then notified by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division it was in violation of the order. In September, Ike's was given a second violation.

Personal observation: Ike's does NOT mandate masks - their business is through the roof -- always a long line.
