This story is being politicized and the people are getting caught in the middle. I'm pointing this out because the voters elected to allow felons to vote and the state put conditions that after time served, fines must be paid first. So its legally approved, however the state imposed the fine rule. Now, I don't find this to be realistic because most people that have served time are going to have to rebuild thier life and paying in some cases large fines is not even possible. That being said, I find it to be a positive element of the people lending in to help everyone out. The problem is they are politicizing this. They don't tell you HOW or WHO to vote for so this is what they are NOT saying. People still have a free vote. Its turning into bad press IMHO.
Many have been incarcerated for bloated drug laws and bad Sheriffs like Rick Bradshaw in Palm Beach County and we all know about Israel from Broward County, bad news. So thats that.
Last thing, this money goes directly to Florida, a state that does not have income tax and the funds will be used for all citizens and in some cases restitution to those victims of some cases. So its more than paying for votes, its complicated and unfortunate.
