Now, that's a new one I hadn't heard. House funds the Senate? I didn't know that. Seems they would have a constitutional obligation unfulfilled if they did that (defunded the Senate). Then the House would be tainted, if it is not already.

I can't remember which libtard suggested it. I don't see how it is possible, another liberal pipe dream. That's how desperate they are to stop Trump from submitting a new SC Justice.
While I recognized the House holds the "power of the purse" in the ability to originate spending bills, I also know that the Senate is required to vote on all spending legislation. It is hard to imagine a situation where the Senate would vote to defund itself, unless that were a provision hidden in some large omnibus bill that nobody read.
Hmmm, let that be a caution to Senate Republicans. Read all bills! Every provision from those sneaky, possibly tainted House members.
