Potus should nominate Ted Cruz today and have it go to a voice vote at Senate tomorrow AM. Don't give Democrats time to do anything but watch. Once confirmed, Greg Abbott Gov. of Texas should appoint another conservative to replace Cruz's vacant seat immediately. This would bullet proof the Supreme Court and take the fight away. At some later date in Trump's second term, he might get another pick or two depending on whether Roberts is pulled into the Oval office and confronted with his trips to foreign banks with questionable funds and maybe asked about his kids adoption. Roberts might see the light and decide he had enough of the SC and decide private practice is better than a private jail cell.

It ain’t a slam dunk. Mittens, Swamp-kowski and Sue the Screw have said not till after election. With Cruz not voting for obvious reasons, what are the numbers without the three duh-migos abstaining and Cruz unable?

It should be 49 to 45, but nothing surprises me anymore.

I would like him to go w/ the Senator route too, but maybe wants the Dems show themselves for the voters to see how evil & desperate they are.
