I use fluoride filters but it’s room temp filtration. I do still drink from my fridge water line. It bothers me every time. Whole house osmosis filtration is really expensive. You still get fluoride by breathing in mist in the shower.

I know it is a hassle, but buy a BPA free container and put some water in the fridge. Do not drink water from the fridge. Any kind of water dispensers with thin lumen hoses is an absolute breeding ground for all kinds of nasty critters - it is called biofilm. Water biofilm is very difficult to kill and requires regular use of compounds not safe to drink. This is one of the main reasons hospitals, as well as medical and dental offices, use so many single use disposable items. Charcoal countertop filters only improve taste if that is what you are using. The filters have a very short life as well.

Look into getting a Burkee or Alexapure Pro gravity filter. It does a good job at filtering water and doesn't need electricity.

I have a RO system under my sink. I ran a water line thru the cabinets to the fridge on the opposite side of the room. Works great

That's better than nothing, but absorption through skin is also a concern. Exposure from taking a shower, washing hands, etc.

And other bad things. Your digestive system is actually pretty good at dealing with contaminants. Your lungs with aerosolized forms, not so good. Direct to your blood stream.

You mentioned something there that's been on my mind. It seems to me that people have a lot more stomach and digestive problems than they used to! I don't remember people ever having so many digestive problems like this years back. Now it seems like almost everyone has some kind of digestive problem of one kind or another.

I’m very skeptical there’s a filter that will remove fluoride. I think it’s a marketing ploy to get people to buy filters. Distillation is the only way to be sure.
