This might prove interesting for the next election cycle, since many state have laws regarding the translation of the popular vote towards the choice of the electoral College. .....

By forcing the electoral college to match the popular vote, you're making their vote pointless. If this were in place in 2016, Trump wouldn't have won, and seeing how 2018 wasn't a red sweep, it looks like 2021 is going to be won by the side with the best voter fraud scam.

What the Supreme Court is saying is that Electors who are designated on the ballot for Trump (Pledged) must vote for Trump. They can not change their mind after the election.
