A shitty app like Facebook but you are supposed to use your real name and only see your neighbors.

It sucks and it’s a liberal hellhole.

I go there using my browser instead of an app. You do have to give your address, email, and real name. Your "area" can be confined to only your neighborhood, or nearby neighborhoods. It's not really like Facebook where you get pictures of people's meals and kids enjoying the pool. The ones I joined are mostly informational regarding what is happening now in the neighborhood. Most are "car broken into on Chance Lane last night", dog loose, lost my cat, have items to sell, what electrician do you use, who cuts down trees, need a summer job, what's that construction on Newberry Rd, etc.

I'm a lead because I started one of the neighborhoods. Leads get to define where the neighborhood starts/ends using a mapping tool, and which houses are included. I had to look at revenue/court records to get the boundaries correct. Some people in my area who set stuff up didn't understand the "neighborhood" part, and put their street and the street next to them into a "neighborhood". Some leads were apparently new to the area and didn't know the "old" names for the area, and have houses 5 miles away in an area that isn't correct. I have no control over that, tried to tell them how to use the area maps to define their neighborhood, but it was like their eyes rolled back in their heads.

Sometimes you have leads who care, sometimes you have leads who are clueless. I've also read about leads who are downright evil. But overall, I've enjoyed being on there.
