Maybe his best story is going to get published soon. The remote control mechanism (at them time) was a telemetry capable interface made by Bosch, yeah that research I did on that at the time (IIRC) the black box had interface / updatable telemetry that could monitor / update wirelessly any function of the automobile. Unfortunately it could be backed easily, YT vids at the time had folks unlocking and stealing the cars wirelessly. Those Bosch boxes are in most your buses as well, especially since the advent of "paperless logs" for drivers which count miles and hours ,on ,off with GPS overlay including start ,stop, throttle position, brake application, sensor in the driver seat tells if driver gets up, Every function.Considering that almost all vehicles now have " fly by wire" throttle control( no physical cable) mass transit buses are a very high risk for this.@ Least that was my research I had done then.very similar to the " uninterrupted auto pilot " on aircraft. JMHO nice post!

Great info thank you!

So if they could hack your car, I'm assuming they could hack your GPS system too, right? In other words, give you directions to drive off a cliff.....
