Point taken. The observation and frustration are valid. Additionally, though, subterfuge is necessary when uncovering subterfuge.

A 'system' that has been decades or centuries (or millennia?) in the making cannot be crippled or dismantled in days, months, or even years -- unless drastic force is applied. [Along these lines, think about how many times POTUS has spoken about avoiding a cure that is worse than the problem.]

It is both a curse and a blessing that most people have a 'short' view of history.

Do not confuse a short view of history with a decade old accumulation of information and historical outcomes that points to forever promises...ever procrastinated...never realized.

Indeed.

Granted, it is POSSIBLE that a decade (or more) of accumulated information and outcomes could point to 'forever promises'.

It is also possible, though, that all this has been necessary.

And I respectfully submit that a decade is not a 'long time'.

Best to you and yours.
