About 27 people have died in Australia from the virus. All are elderly or had serious illnesses before hand. People are rightly starting to ask wtf we are all locked down. The media has been dedicating 5 mins on the news to a 70 plus year old with cancer becoming the latest 'victim' pretty much on a nightly basis. They have fucked themselves as people are now asking but they flu would have killed them or any virus. Doctors starting to question the severity of the lock down.
So they go the old sob piece. By no means am I being dismissive of the families feelings etc but people die every day, more from heart condition, cancer etc.

As to why the death rate is so low I have no idea, it is still warm over here and that is meant to help and we do tend to have the elderly in nursing homes and retirement villages which locked down early. But you can't even go fishing in my state, you are only allowed out for:
- Food
- Basic excercise
- Medical assistance
- If you are a carer/essential service
All pretty crazy.
PS one of the other things they did very quickly was stop issuing gun permits. Now we have police telling families off for kicking the footy down the park.

I’m hearing different. I can’t verify but I’m hearing that any death cause by upper respiratory problems is marked as Covid Death. Same with Flu like symptoms, death is marked Covid. We need real time data to see if there is a inverse relationship between Flu deaths ( have they dropped in numbers) vrs Covid death numbers.
