I meant oils like canola, corn, soybean and grapeseed as bad seed oils. Palm, coconut and olive are good. Also don't forget the old standby, bacon fat!
I avoid palm nut oil but otherwise heartily agree with you. I've always thought that corn oil is hilarious. What, do you squeeze a bunch of corn and oil comes out? Hardly. It's the result of a chemical process and only widely used because corn subsidies makes corn cheap. The same reason much of our gas is 10% ethanol now. My engine don't like that shit but thanks to the corn lobby I don't have choice.
