Thanks. 60/6000=1% I would say that is quite diproportionately high, since priests would be far fewer than 1 out of every 100 citizens.

They might see a lot more sick old folks than the average person, especially in times of contagion.

Not really. They may be anointing the sick/giving last rites and therefore exposing themselves to the virus at a higher rate than the general population.

The question is why the higher prevalence? Your explanation is certainly one possibility.

Another is that the virus may be being used a cover story, for incarceration of some of those priests. The better to conceal the first wave of The Storm.

Or the numbers being reported are total BS. I have no confidence in what is being officially reported. No idea if it’s much worse or much better...or something all together different than what the narrative is.
