I guess that's the" fuzzy math" part of the equation nobody seems to question, when a 160k pr/year Congress person goes from avg income to multi millionair in a cpl of terms in Congress..

He just turned it into $2.5 million by selling before the crash

$1.6 million says most of them did the same thing.
Only selected members will be investigated.

Ha, you beat me to the million dollar question: how many Congress ppl , big tech, Hollyweird ,benefited personally from insider trading knowing Coronavirus was on the horizon?

The guy is on tape warning close constituents...........yet no warning for us

based on insider knowledge - any of the little people would be arrested on charges of insider trading

Others were dumping stock too - not Congress Critters, but CEO's! There was an article showing one CEO dumping BILLION$ - Bezos for one, supposedly to fund his SpaceX rocket company! He DOES have a history of selling BILLION$ so might not be nefarious, but could be!

Didn't Martha Stewart go to prison for something like this?
[–] pizzaequalspedo 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Yes. It’s illegal for you or I to trade on inside info. But it’s 100% legal for Congress to do it.
That’s not hyperbole or fake news. It’s verifiably true.

It used to be. I thought they closed that loophole a few years ago now. I'll have to recheck to verify.

No, it's not. Congress members haven't been exempt from securities laws since 2012.
