The market is a fraud with the illusion of gambling. It is not indicative of our economy, regardless of how dishonestly they attempt to link the two.

Largely agree, Patriot. Personally, I'd nuance the word "fraud"... more like "manipulated". But your second sentence is spot on.

Agreed. That's why I prefer the term "manipulated". Large players (governments, central bankers, large hedge funds) can manipulate the markets. Using the casino analogy, they're the "House". Not a fraud, the House always win.

Except they don't. The large traders constantly manipulate and fraudulently control the markets. This is why, for example, Goldman sacks, and others, were telling everyone to buy while they were themselves shorting the market.

If everyone knew what to expect, that would be impossible. Ignoring the fact it's criminal.

If anyone thinks fraud is not the correct word, they don't really understand what's going on.
