It's also why Huber is hunkered down in UT and why Barr is bringing in Jensen from MO. People whose careers have been outside the Beltway. Once you go through DC, you get corrupted. Not everyone, but a lot of them - USG, IC, and MIL.

Good point Patriot. I could not agree with you more.
Moving these pieces on the chessboard around and getting them in position to strike takes time - especially when you are trying to keep the details under wraps. I think we are going to be surprised when we see how many investigations have been taking place all over the country.
Wasn't it Whitaker that visited every FBI field office in person? I know someone made face time in each field office. Communication was delivered in person and not by phone or electronics.
Hmmm...makes me wonder if we are starting to see some of these cases be unwrapped while attention has been diverted to Washington and the clown show there. It's all been a diversion to keep the swampies occupied on the theatrics in DC. POTUS and Barr are geniuses.

Whitaker served a purpose. Just like Sessions. Consider all of these heads coming in and out of the Administration. Some are traitors and they get exposed. Some are tools - they serve a specific purpose. They come into DOJ, State and other orgs - execute a certain function, and then leave and let the next phase come in.
It's brilliant when you think about it. Phased execution. Center of gravity. Keep the enemy off-axis as it is constant change with new variables. Yet the variables have been tasked to execute a certain task.
We only see 5-10% of what really happens inside of the agencies. Lots of pawns and rooks getting moved all over the place.
Traitors and tools.
