Horse pucky. Yeah, I've got copies of r&d papers on those things from 1974. And that isn't even close to all of it.

I'm not impressed. I was involved in preliminary design studies of railguns in the 1980s and invented (patent # 4,711,414) a projectile propulsion concept that was developed into the world's first 3-axis-stabilized, solid-propellant kinetic energy weapon. Its offspring is the warhead on the Standard 3 missile.

But what I said is true enough. Plenty of concept, shortage of practicality.
